Professional experience

2018 – 2019 Work planner at Tata Steel

  • Worked within a team of 10+ to maintain and improve the Direct Sheet Plant production line
  • Improving the documentation (work instructions) regarding the maintenance of the coiler section of the Direct Sheet Plant
  • Ensuring correct and cost-efficient maintenance of the mechanical side of the coiler section
  • Making sure the correct (machined) parts were made within budget and on time
  • Hiring the correct people to perform maintenace within budget and project planning
  • Producing the project planning for the entire coiler section (mechanical, electrical and hydraulics) in Microsoft Project
  • Made calculations regarding full day welding projects to ensure it fitted into the two day downtime period
  • Improved ERP stock management by sorting out overdue production of machine parts and correcting minimum/maximum stock and content of art. numbers

2018 – 2018 Graduation internship at Tata Steel

  • Worked within a team of 10+ to maintain and improve the Direct Sheet Plant production line
  • Documenting the current state of the installation, regarding degradation by corrosion, according to NEN2767-1&2 and 12944-2
  • Documenting the risks and possible consequences by making use of an FMEA analysis
  • Researched the disruptive effects of corrosion by means of SAP analysis over the production plants lifetime
  • Calculated the remaining lifetime of installation parts
  • Gave advise in an implementation plan on how to slow down the corrosion process by making changes to the water treatment system, mechanical adjustments and a coating to be used on the structures of the production plant. All this supported by a cost and benefit overview and an estimated time schedule

2017 – 2018 R&D Engineer at JBT F&DS

  • Worked within the R&D team to improve and update existing dairy processing machines
  • Wrote a test protocol and implemented this protocol on a newly developed bottling machine
  • Ensured strict adherence to EHEDGE and FDA guidelines

2016 – 2017 Internship at Stork Food and Dairy Systems

  • Market research into the broader use of a piston pump
  • Designing an actively regulated valve system for the before mentioned piston pump
